What this series examines
“Studies” refers to the commentary articles in this series. They consider the origin, evidence, currency, scope and fit of information. They are not clinical studies and claim neither peer review nor accreditation.
The comparison cards explain general documentation principles. They do not reproduce specific historical entries or assess individual doctors.
Limits of the historical review
The title, publication year and bibliographic attribution were checked against the linked catalogue. A complete visual collation of the historical volume was not performed. The series therefore adds no historical doctors’ names, quotations from entries or supposedly verified scanned pages.
The source reference establishes no connection between Trusted Ones, the historical publisher, the GMC or a library. The linked institutions are not presented as partners.
Design and image rights
The source card uses newly set typography and is identified as a contemporary design. No third-party scans, library stamps, reprint covers or archive images are included.
A publicly accessible catalogue record is not blanket permission to use every associated digitisation. Any future inclusion of an image requires a separate check of its source, the specific page, usage terms and required attribution.
